In 2021 a subset of the Islandora Leadership group collaborated with members of the community on a discussion of diversity, equity, and inclusion for Islandora. The final document presented back to the group enshrined our belief that our community is our greatest resource and affirmed Islandora's commitment to foster and prioritize diversity in the organizations, cultures, geographic locations, and people involved in the Islandora community.
