Meet Your Developer: Jonathan Green

It has been a while since we had a entry for Meet Your Developer, but there is no better person to re-launch the series than longtime contributor Jonathan Green. The architect of Tuque and a part of the Islandora community since 2010, Jonathan Green is a Committer on both the 7.x and CLAW branches of Islandora. He returns to the community as a DevOps Engineer at LYRASIS, after a hiatus in another industry. Here's what Jon had to say:

Meet Your New Technical Lead

Hi, I'm Danny, and I'm the newest hire of the Islandora Foundation. My role within the Foundation is to serve as Technical Lead, and I want to take some time to introduce myself and inform everyone of just exactly what I'll be doing for them.

Meet Your Developer: Jared Whiklo

The Islandora community has seen a lot of growth since the Islandora Foundation got its start in 2013. The growth of our user and institutional community has been easy to see, but there has been another layer of growth in a vital part of the community that isn't always as visible: Islandora developers. Modules, bug fixes, and other commits to the Islandora codebase are coming from a much wider varsity of sources that in the early days of Islandora.

Meet Your Developer: Will Panting

A Meet Your Developer double feature this week, as we introduce another instructor for the upcoming Islandora Conference: Will Panting. A Programmer/Analyst at discoverygarden, Inc., Will is a key member of the Committers Group and of one of the most stalwart defenders of best practices and backwards compatibility in Islandora. If you adopt a brand new module and it doesn't break anything, you may well have Will to thank.

Meet Your Developer: QA Dan

With the Islandora Conference coming up , we thought it would be a good time to Meet some Developers, especially those who will be leading workshops. Kicking it off is Daniel Aitken, better known in the Islandora community as QA Dan, master of testing.

Meet Your Developer: Paul Pound

Another month has come and gone and it's once again time to Meet Your Developer. Today we have an interview with Paul Pound, Systems Analyst/Developer at the University of Prince Edward Island and the original developer of the first Islandora modules back in 2007. Please tell us a little about yourself.

Meet Your Developer: Jordan Dukart

Back in July we checked in with Alan Stanley for the first Islandora "Meet Your Developer" blog entry. It's time to meet another of the developers behind the project, discoverygarden Developer and prolific committer Jordan Dukart. If you were at Islandora Camp PEI this summer, you'll remember Jordan as the super helpful mentor in the Developer track who wandered the room making things work.
