Islandora is an open-source software framework designed to help institutions and organizations and their audiences collaboratively manage, and discover digital assets using a best-practices framework. It uses Drupal as a front-end and deploys other open-source technologies, such as Fedora and Solr, to deliver a complete digital assets management solution. Originally developed by the University of Prince Edward Island's Robertson Library, Islandora is now implemented and supported by an ever-growing international community.

Islandora Camp NY - Accomodations

We've had a few queries about travel and hotel recommendations for Islandora Camp NY. The University of Columbia's CampusTravel portal is your best bet for suggestions, including hotels, campus maps, and local transit information. Just click on "Visiting Columbia."

Islandora Camp NY T-Shirt Contest

One of the features of the last few Islandora Camps is the camp t-shirt given to all attendees. Every camp has its own logo. This year we launched the first Islandora Camp T-Shirt Logo Contest for our PEI camp in July. The winning t-shirt ended up being awfully cool:

Islandora 7.x-1.2 Now Released
