Interested in Fedora 4? Hydra? Interoperability? We have an event for you.
As part of Islandora Camp CT, we will also be playing host to a day-long meeting of the Hydra and Islandora communities to talk about interoperability and the future with Fedora 4, on October 23. If you have an interest in the Fedora 4 project, in using both Hydra and Islandora, or just want to take part in the most open of open sourciness, please join us and learn what a Hylandora can do.
Developers will have an opportunity to work with Nick Ruest (Islandora 7.x-2.x Project Director) and Danny Lamb (Islandora 7.x-2.x Technical Lead) on things like security, metadata standards, and of course the Portland Common Data Model. Admins are invited to come and discuss use cases, standards, and other ideas about how these projects should work for end-users - and hopefully generate a few Feature Requests for Islandora with Fedora 4.
Location: Graduate Business Learning Center, 100 Constitution Plaza, Hartford, Connecticut - 2nd Floor
Date: October 23
Time: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
