Registration Now Open: Islandora Camp PEI

Registration is open!

This year's Islandora Camp in Charlottetown will be held on Sunday, July 7. This marks the fourth time the Islandora community has gathered in Prince Edward Island for summer sun and digital repositories. Because of its proximity to the Open Repositories 2013 conference (July 8 - 12), Islandora Camp will be condensed to a single day. The cost is $195.00 for a full day including meals. This is an early bird rate available through June 1st.

Changes in Islandora 7

With the a new stable release of Islandora 7.x nearly one month old, we sat down with Jonathan Green, Chief Technology Officer at discoverygarden, to find out a little more about new features, architecture changes, and anything else that has changed between Islandora 6 and Islandora 7.

New Sandboxes

Sandbox versions of Islandora 6.x-13.1 and 7.x-1.1 are now available online for a quick and easy test-drive of the latest in Islandora. The sandboxes demonstrate the basic functionality of Islandora out-of-the-box with the standard modules and solution packs from the latest releases, along with a few sample objects. Both sandboxes are purged and reset nightly, so feel free to add and delete content as you see fit. To log in with full admin privileges use the following Username and Password:
