Islandora Collections

The following links provide access to a number of Islandora sites (most of them live production sites) which illustrate the evolution of the Islandora suite. While much of the functionality of Islandora is "under the hood" these examples demonstrate the suite's considerable capacities. As the Islandora project progresses, this site will provide additional information and links to newly developed and downloadable solution packs.

Basic Academic Skills Video Collection (A sample Flash video collection.)

Island Lives (A under-development Islandora site providing full text search of books and the Island Magazine. The site provides a presentation of pages via Djatoka JPEG2000 server, TEI named entity extraction and an automated book workflows.)

Island Magazine (An early Islandora site with fulltext search and PDF delivery of articles and full issues of a magazine.)

Island Scholar (UPEI's institutional repository system, including Sherpa/ROMEO integration. Uses Drupal LDAP module for authentication and authorization.)

Living Archives Image Collection (One of the first Islandora sites which includes a small photo archives and additional Drupal functions. Requires login for story access.)

Red and White Archives (An early Islandora site with fulltext search and PDF delivery.)

Red Island Repository Institute Documents (Demonstrates use of the new feature which sends all Drupal attachments on any node to a Fedora Collection.)
